I certainly don't like some things about MS. I'll say this though, where would sony's online be without MS forcing the issue?

@LONEWOLF I would ammend that to say don't pay attention to what any ONE game review site scores a given title. then, if it's borderline (say, meta 70/100 or above) give it a rental or watch videos to see if u personally think it's worth buying.

MC ain't that bad, I've seen so SO many that are worse. however, real 'space marines' of teh future will look like and inhabit a world more like Commander Shepherd's.
good fiction takes 1 or a couple 'what ifs' and blends them into a realistic/plausible world. please, PLEASE devs take a cue from Mass Effect and do the same.

then how come I can and do regularly download HD movies to enjoy? (yes I've been told that it's not 'true' HD since it's 720p and I think only 5.1 audio, compressed. that's already a big step up from SD IMO and yes, 720p is largely recognized as 'HD'. my main point being it doesn't just play games lol every1 knows that.)

agree the explosions were great in the 1st one. I loved being narrowly missed with enemy rockets: beautiful smoke trails going by and then the screen goes all blurry-white and you get tossed forward by the blast. fun stuff.
